How to Make Aloo Matar

  1. Heat oil, add cumin. Add onion, sauté 3 mins till translucent.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree. Cook 5 mins till oil separates.
  3. Add turmeric, chilli powder, salt. Cook 1 min.
  4. Add potatoes, peas. Mix well, add 1.5 cups water. Cover, simmer 15 mins.
  5. Finish with garam masala, coriander. Serve with roti or puri.
