Palak Paneer Recipe
The classic palak paneer recipe — creamy spinach gravy with soft paneer cubes. Restaurant flavour, home kitchen, with ingredients you probably already have.
Ingredients
- 250g palak (spinach), washed
- 200g paneer, cubed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 2 tbsp cream
- Salt to taste
How to Make Palak Paneer
- Blanch palak in hot water for 2 mins. Transfer to ice water. Blend to a smooth puree.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add cumin, then chopped onions. Sauté till golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, sauté 1 min. Add tomato puree, cook 5 mins till oil separates.
- Add turmeric, garam masala, salt. Pour in palak puree. Simmer 5 mins.
- Add paneer cubes, cream. Cook 2 mins on low. Serve with roti or jeera rice.
