Dosa Recipe
Crisp dosa from fermented rice-urad batter. Technique matters more than ingredients — hot tawa, thin spread, quick cook.
Ingredients
- 3 cups dosa batter (fermented)
- Oil or ghee for cooking
- Chopped onions (optional)
- Chopped coriander (optional)
How to Make Dosa
- Heat flat tawa on high. Sprinkle water — if it sizzles, tawa is ready. Wipe with damp cloth.
- Pour 1 ladle of batter in centre. In circular motions, spread thin from centre outward.
- Drizzle oil on edges. Cook 2 mins till golden brown and edges crisp.
- Optional: sprinkle chopped onion, coriander on top before flipping.
- Fold and serve immediately with sambar, coconut chutney and potato masala.
