Kadai Paneer Recipe
Dry kadai paneer with freshly ground kadai masala — robust, peppery, and packed with capsicum.
Ingredients
- 300g paneer, cubed
- 2 capsicums, cubed
- 2 onions, cubed
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp kadai masala
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 3 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
How to Make Kadai Paneer
- Heat oil, add onion cubes, sauté 2 mins. Add capsicum, sauté 2 mins. Remove.
- In same pan, add more oil. Add ginger-garlic paste, cook 1 min.
- Add tomatoes, cook till mushy (5 mins). Add kadai masala, chilli powder, salt.
- Add paneer cubes, sautéed onion-capsicum. Mix gently, cook 3 mins.
- Finish with kasuri methi. Serve dry with roti or naan.
