How to Make Poha

  1. Rinse poha in water quickly, drain, let stand 5 mins (don't soak).
  2. Heat oil, add mustard seeds. When they crackle, add peanuts, curry leaves, green chilli.
  3. Add onion, sauté till translucent (3 mins). Add turmeric.
  4. Add drained poha, salt, sugar. Mix gently. Cook 3 mins covered on low.
  5. Finish with lemon juice and coriander. Serve hot with chai.
